Canna Maineia 2012 in Augusta, Maine was put together by first-time organizer Jim Fowler, a medicinal cannabis patient who moved to Maine from Massachusetts a few years ago. Mr. Fowler brought together an impressive array of vendors such as Trimpro (of Canada), Interg8 and Canuvo (medical marijuana dispensaries), Dr. Dustin Sulak (who is opening up more offices with more providers), Blazing Ace, a shop in Portland, Maine, Bhang Products, Medicinal Mix (premium organic compost), and more (see inset for listed entertainers,). He also brought in a variety of entertainment including Los Marijuanos from California and Squidly Cole from Jamaica. They boasted 1,500 paid attendees at $20 a pop for the general public and $15 for medical cannabis patients.

RISING TRIBE & SPIRITUAL REZ “LIVE”

“LIVE” From Tammany Hall in Worcester, MA. THE KING of POT and MISS MICAELA join the concert one week before our April 20 holiday.

Witness the unique and very talented Rising Tribe as they perform live their hit “My Island”. Rising Tribe plays Island Alternative, a funky mix of pop, rock, reggae, and ska with Caribbean influences. If you have never seen them you are in for a treat. MISS MICAELA also interviews Tiffany Gassett the founder of Rising Tribe and she also writes the band’s music.

Also on the bill in National recording act "Spiritual Rez". A reggae funk dance experience is an unabashed display of musical virtuosity.
When paired with a deep, sub-sonic groove and powerful heart felt vocalization; crowds are left dancing and screaming for more. Over the past 8 years, these six men have relentlessly toured the country to share their music and appreciation of the arts. Maine Medical Marijuana Expo 2011

LIVE from PORTLAND, Maine. THE KING of POT is invited to speak, and KOP PRODUCTIONS and FAR OUT Magazine are two of many sponsors of this debut Event. Hundreds of people attended along with 20 to 30 exhibitors and Guest Speakers, for The Maine Medical Marijuana Expo 2011.

This show was held Saturday and Sunday at Portland’s Fireside Inn on FEB 26-27. Exhibitors included grow suppliers, medical marijuana caregivers, dispensary operators, consultants and a medical marijuana attorney. The expo is billed as an educational and informational event for medical marijuana patients and others with an interest in medical marijuana.

Charlie Wynott of the nonprofit Maine Medical Marijuana Resource Center, which put on the event, presented a number of speakers, including U.S. Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts.

Wynott said hundreds if not thousands of people showed up to this first-ever Event in Portland, Maine. We hope you enjoy the video we captured and we are looking forward to being a part of this next year.
